This historical-cultural tour is aimed at all chocolate lovers! We’ll start at the Santo Domingo Church to examine its iconic Arco Chato and discover the curious role that its architectural elements played in facilitating the construction of the Panama Canal. While we’re in the complex, we will also enter its Museum of Colonial Religious Art and contemplate the beautiful exhibition of artifacts from our Spanish heritage. Later, we will explore a local market for handicrafts and souvenirs.

Then, in the Church of San José we’ll hear the story of the iconic Golden Altar and we’ll witness a huge nativity scene kept in the religious building. We’ll close with a flourish at Nomé, a chocolate factory, where you will learn about the transformation of cocoa beans while delighting your palate with a chocolate tasting.
